Not Great, Not Terrible is the publishing imprint of Rena Tom, an artist, writer, and curator in Berkeley, CA. She publishes her work (and the work of others) with an emphasis on the intersection of local history and the vernacular. Whether painstakingly folding Turkish map zines or trying not to smudge Risograph prints, she turns to mundane objects, optical illusions, and found imagery to question and reframe everyday experience.
